What does Snake River Mud do?

Wary trout can be spooked by the leader and tippet in clear water.  This is true with dry flies, and it’s equally true with nymphs and wet flies.  Snake River Mud helps to camouflage the leader and tippet, preventing it from reflecting light and alerting trout.   Furthermore, a leader may keep small, unweighted flies from sinking.  Snake River Mud ensures that your tippet won’t slow the rate at which flies sink.
